Wet Surface Air Coolers (WSAC) Agreement signed with Alfa Laval

Published on

Pressure Worx have signed an agreement with Alfa Laval and we’ll be promoting and supporting their Niagara Wet Surface Air Coolers (WSAC) across Australia and New Zealand. The agreement confirms our long-standing relationship with Alfa Laval & Niagara Blower which has seen the delivery of several large-scale WSAC projects across Australia and New Zealand over the last 25 years.

Wet Surface Air Coolers are ideally suited to the hot, dry ambient temperatures found across Australia, where wet bulb temperatures are typically low. The WSAC provides a closed-circuit cooling loop that directly approaches the wet-bulb temperature. It has many advantages over cooling towers or fin-fan radiators, providing both clean process fluids and cooler temperatures at lower operating powers.

Pressure Worx bring a strong technical and process know how and understanding of local design codes and local fabrication expertise to the relationship.
