Heat has been radiating from the Earth’s core for billions of years. This geothermal energy rises upwards to the surface and causes large amounts of underground water to be heated. In some locations, like the central North Island of New Zealand, these underground reservoirs reach the surface and can be tapped into with wells to exploit the heat to generate renewable electricity.
We specialise in niche and custom design shell & tube heat exchangers and gas compressors for Oil & Gas industry. We design to latest version of ASMEVIII Div.1, AS1210 and codes including TEMA and API660.
Pressure Worx are experts in thermal/process design of shell and tube heat exchangers. We have developed many niche heat exchanger solutions. An example would be H2S coolers., Sulphur Coolers and Reflux Condensers for Hydrogen Sulphide plants at Nickel refineries.
The Pulp & Paper Industry uses vast amounts of energy in its various drying processes. Steam is often generated to act as a heating medium for steam coils to heat air used in the drying. Pressure Worx are able to design and supply these coil heaters as well as various other heat exchangers used in the process.
